This 28 July 2012, Saturday, we’ll be witnessing a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest crowd of people performing the actions of the “Three Wise Monkeys” within 24 hours at various locations across the globe. For the uninitiated, the “Three Wise Monkeys” is essentially the embodiment of the act of ‘see no evil’, ‘hear no evil’ and ‘speak no evil’. The rationale behind this attempt to record the largest number of people performing these actions is to highlight a devastatingly widespread ignorance of the worldwide population towards Hepatitis.

This is your opportunity to be a part of a movement to raise awareness of this disease in the local sphere and to bring the consciousness of hepatitis to the forefront. So, mark those calendar’s guys and show your support for Hepatitis awareness by joining us in making this Guinness World Record attempt a success this coming Saturday on 28 July 2012 from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm at the First Floor of One Utama’s Highstreet!

Folks from the online community who wish to get involved can do so by tweeting photos of yourself performing one of the three “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” actions or get your friends to join in the fun by doing all three at one go and uploading it onto your twitter profiles along with this hashtag, #seehearspeakno!

Free Hepatitis B vaccination will be given to the first 300 participants with confirmed blood tests that require vaccination i.e. HBsAg not detected, anti-HBc or anti-HBs not detected. Please make sure you bring along your blood test result to register at the Main Event (first come first serve for 100 people per day and the vaccination will be done in UMMC at a later date).
